SMS does not work in /e/OS guest account - not possible?

Hello,

I’ve set up a guest account under /e/OS. In the “User Settings” menu, I can activate telephone, and phone calls work, but for SMS there is no switch for activation, so SMS doesn’t work.

So, SMS doesn’t work in the guest account, neither sending nor receiving.
Is there any way to use SMS in the guest account?

You might check the solution for regular AOSP

Note : To enable or disable the phone and SMS functions for a secondary user, go to Settings > Users , select the user, and switch the Allow phone calls and SMS setting to off.

While this phone has no guest user, I see “Allow phone calls” but no mention of SMS.

Thanks, but I don’t understand your answer in detail.
At my phone (Gigaset GS290 with /e/OS 3.7 official (Android 12)) it was possible to create a “guest” account. But at user setting of this guest account I can only activate phone calls, but no SMS.
And I am wondering how to activate SMS with /e/OS…
