[SOLVED] Bluetooth crashing after upgrade to 0.18 on S9+

I upgraded my e-shop bought S9+ OTA to 0.18 today.

Now when I drive my 2014 Ford, the Bluetooth connects and then drops after a few seconds. The phone puts up messages saying “Bluetooth has stopped working”. It keeps doing this in a loop.

I’ve tried rebooting both car and phone and also rebuilding the connection between the car and phone. It still cant hold a constant connection.

There was no problem with the car on 0.17 and BT on 0.18 seems to work with my earphones OK.

Any idea what’s going on and how to fix it?

My panic is over. After a few more reboots and removing the previous pairings from the car, the BT connection works again!
