Hi e/OS friends,
I am using e/OS since years. Now I bought a Fairphone 5 to replace my old mobile. My Problem: Spotify stops installing in APP LOUNGE. When you click on “install” it stops within seconds and no message appears. After next to the app it just shows “install” again.
What did I already do
- changing from anonymus to registered google account
- clearing cache and memory on app lounge several times
- update to latest firmware 3.14
- several restarts
Is there an alternative way to install spotify? Or is a bug known as a reason? Thanks in advance.
I think it is not only spotify’s problem but in general, problem with App Lounge on Fairphone phones:

I am striving it as well and there are no good solution so far… I am tryin to use Aurora store - sometimes it helps but there I got lots od errors like “application is not avaliable for your phone" or I am trying to fine apk directly to download from APK archives online.
So far I don’t know why it’s not working even on Fairphones sold with e preinstalled… It’s even mord annoying than dealing with specific aps problemy like Android Auto.
Thanks czarny1975 for your tip. Fetching the APK from apkmirror.com did help for spotify and other apps. Nice “workaround” during APPLOUNGE does not work smart.
