Still in search for an App Lock

Dear all,
After hours of searching, I decided to ask here: any advises for a good App Lock without ads and if possible trackers?
The only one I found on F-Droid is not working well and keep crashing…

I have used AppLock from f-droid without any issue. But have removed it, because it’s not working with pin only with pattern and I hate pattern

Sorry for raising this thread from dead, but should not such a security-centred function be included in eOS by default? With all the permissions needed for such a thing to work I would not trust a third-party app.
