Telephone app does not allow for backups

Hello,

I would like to execute a system update that would update my system to /e/OS 4.0. When attempting the update there is a warning notice that tells me that the upgrade will entail a change of the file system, which is why my device will need to be reverted to factory settings.

Therefore I need to backup my contacts (among other things). But the telephone app simply does not offer any function to export the contacts. I skimmed through all the menus, but there is no such thing. As for the version of the app, the “Info” section says: “Build 23.0”

Any help?

Contacts app > Settings will offer export contacts > Export as .vcf is my preferred method.

Ah yes, there actually is a “contacts” app. Thank you! I never use it, that’s why I didn’t see it.
