Teracube 2e Data Suddently Not working. Is It The APN Setting?

So a few days ago (a week ago?) data slowed to a trickle for my Teracube 2e. I can get texts. Sometimes if I’m lucky and if I wait for a few minutes I can get a photo. Websites usually load slowly and sometimes don’t load at all. That kind of thing. It’s not the VPN–it happens the same with and without the VPN (and I did turn off the mode that cuts all internet connection when the VPN is not connected).

I called my provider and they gave me some kind of text about using the correct APN. They want to know what kind of device I’m running. The list is:

  1. Samsung A-Series Phone
  2. Android 4.0
  3. Samsung Galaxy S (3G, 4G)
  4. Android 1.5
  5. iPhone or iPad (iOS 6 or later)
  6. Android 1.5 (again, for some reason)
  7. Android 1.6-2.3.4
  8. Nokia Devices
  9. Motorola CLIQ (XT)
  10. iPhone or IPad (iOS 5 or previous)
  11. ZTE
  12. Others

Any idea what I should be replying? I know e/os is based on android, but does that mean that replying with one of the android options will give me the right APN? Or is this getting back to like… basic set up where I have to manually change the APN?

Thanks!

You don’t have a device with Android versions from Stone Age (1.5 to 4.0).

You could try out Reset mobile network setting

  • Setttings > System > Reset options > Reset mobile network setting

Then restart you T2e. Provider APN is now reinitializing itself.
