Hello, I tried the e/os web installer today and it stopped as the android security update is 5th of August 2026 and the web installer’s e/os is not recent enough and there was a risk of bricking the phone. Anyone knows if/when the web installer will be updated? Also, when I unlocked the bootloader it asked me if I wanted to reboot now or later but the web installer did not say anything about this. I chose reboot later. Any help would be appreciated as changing the os of one’s phone is scary. Thanks! Regain your privacy! Adopt /e/OS the deGoogled mobile OS and online services

Shared this comment with the developer. The response was that with /e/OS 4.3 it should be fine now as SP greater than stock OS. About “reboot now or later” could you open an issue with screenshot and how to reproduce.
Well, the problem here is that the webinstaller stoped because of the SPL date while it should go on if it pointed to e-4.3. (It has an SPL date of september while the device is on the August SPL date.)
So either it points to an older image or the date is not updated correctly in the web-app.
