Trouble with BankId

Anyone else having trouble with Norwegian BankId? It has been working for a long time (relatively), but for some days ago I got “Something went wrong. Try again later.” (translated from Norwegian)

I have tried resetting the app, reinstall app, and even phone factory reset (Fairphone 6 with e/OS) with no luck.

I’m not currently using /e/OS as my main driver, but I’m planning to get back.

I have two devices at home running /e/OS. I do some testing.
What do you do to make the error appear? Is it on launch of the app or on configuration? Can you check the version number of BankID?

This is the sequence:

  1. Login to nettbank
  2. Push from BankID app appears on phone
  3. I click Yes on the button to confirm the login
  4. Error appears

After reset of BankID app, the error appears after entering personnummer and next.

BankID app version: 4.8.2

I see that version 4.8.3 has been releases. Can you check if you still have the issue?

Edit: I’m not even able to activate the app on my secondary phone. I get the same error message.

Version 4.8.3 seems not available in App Lounge yet. So I will wait for the next version and hope for the best.

Today I got updated to /e/OS 3.1.2 and BankID 4.8.4. Now it’s working again.
