Unable to finish the easy installment

Using /e/OS Setup

I tried using the easy installer for my Galaxy J8, I followed all of the steps but the installer got stuck in the “finding your phone” part! Please help.

So far only the Samsung Galaxy S6 - S9 and the Fairphone FP3/FP3+ can be installed with the easy-installer. The J8 won’t work. See https://doc.e.foundation/easy-installer
