Hm, bummer. Android Auto was working on 2.9, now on 3.0 it is broken. Tried to uninstall and install, but not improvement. Any ideas?
A15 /e/OS is still betaā¦ so please wait for final version

Oh dear. Ronald. Did I miss any warning somewhere that the ROM is in bĆØta? I donāt think I can roll back to 2.9 because of the higher version of android, right?

local update not possible.
But i have it installed clean without error message. 
apps so far OK and work but I donāt want to run it with sim card because there are many unwanted data connection even if you donāt do anything.

have you taken other sources?
then clean installation without any errors.
fingerprint scanner does not work either at first setup or later via settings.
also a restart did not fix it.

I decided to keep testing the 3.0-A15 beta version. I found that some apps have problems getting the right rights from MicroG. Donāt know if I say this right. But Signal and Park4Night for instance had problems and also were not working properly. After removing cache and memory from these apps the problems were gone. I updated from 2.9-A14 to 3.0-A15. Oh, and my GPS is not working all the time.
i do not use the 3.0-a15 @ronnz98 has written that we should wait for the final version.

Hi @Hase. I thought it would be handy to test the A15 version of @ronnz98, but Iām having too much trouble using this os for daily purpose. I tried setting the 3.0-A15 back to factory and tried to install the apps, but trouble with apps missing Play Store kept cumming in this new situation as well. Not I want to go back to 3.01-A14. My Noting Phone has an e/os recovery suiting me well. What I suspected happened. I get a failure after sideloading the 3.01-A14 rom. Reason: because itās a downgrade.
In the e/os recovery thereās only a format data/factory reset. I canāt remove the rom from this place. Is there a fastboot command to remove the 3.0-A15 rom?
If you faced difficulties to downgrade,
You may have to go back to NothingOS

I also tested 3.0 a15 when it had created @ronnz98 . then I am back to 3.0.1 a14 without problems. I have made a clean flash. recovery flashed, then factory reset and then with sideload installed everything without error.
but at 3.0.1 a14 the fingerprint sensor does not work with me. does he work with you?

Thanks @Hase and @piero. But Iām a bit stuck. Managed to extract both boot.img and vendor_boot.img. The problem is that I get a good response for adb devices from my phone, but fastboot devices gets no response. Tried different USB cables, different ports and different USB-drivers. Always the same outcome: no response for the fastboot devices command. Any ideas what to do?

oh @ronnz98 creates a new system of 3.01 a15.
I will of course test and report it, and always a great thank you from the best creator of unofficial smartphones for e/os here in the forum.

do you have Windows or Linux as an operating system on your computer?
if you have Windows check the drivers in the device manager.
if you have Linux watch updates of Android tools
what does ADB --version say?
Yeah! Donāt know how, but I managed to update to 3.0.1-A15. I mean, not getting a response from fastboot devices is reason not to proceed I read. First, did a factory reset/data wipe. Then enabled USB-debugging and ADB-ed the new ROM.
Fingerprint, wifi tested and OK. App Lounge working (for the first time Iām using e/os) but very slow. All the problems with apps having trouble not finding the Playstore seem to be finished. Thanks a lot @ronnz98 for your input and work!
Hi @Hase, thanks for your reply. Iām working from a Windows 11 laptop. Version 36.0.0-13206524 for adb --version. The device manager identifies the phone as Nothing Phone (1) and the driver is called winusb.sys. I think Iām not going to put more effort in solving this problem, now that is managed to update to 3.0.1-A15.

when gestures are used, the notice is permanently displayed. it is disabled. on and off the option no change. Restart no change.
