nope still isnt fixed even did clean flash bonus the mail app doesnt work
its laggy when switching between many apps knowing even my redmi note 4 didnt do that
I can confirm that adb only works with this recovery.
Otherwise the installation went smoothly and the Rom is great.

Hello the rom for the galaxy note 8 (greatlte) since the versions U of /e/os 2.6 are not functional for me all version tested until the 2.9. When I try to install these versions, they boot up to the /e/os logo and reboot in a systematic loop until the battery runs out.
Apparently it’s the same processor and everything works under galaxy s8.
The android 13 and /e/os 2.5 version is the last functional version for me on the galaxy note 8 (greatlte). A rom unofficial lineage os android 14 is functional on this phone.
Would you have a solution please or would there be other users who managed to install the latest versions on the galaxy note 8 (greatlte). If so, have you been able to correct this problem or how did you go about avoiding it or not encountering this looping restart problem after flash.

Unfortunately still the same for the note 8 (greatlte) :
- E/OS 2.6t (android 13) OK installation starts correctly but KO no menu just empty background with access to functions with the notification bar
- E/OS 2.6.3u (Android 14) KO device loop restart

- E/OS 2.8u (Android 14) KO device loop restart

since this ROM is based on this one, does it have the same reboot problem when opening the gallery?
Also, I have been using Ivan Meler’s ROM for several years, but they have SELinux and encryption disabled. Is this ROM behave the same way? Do you plan to maintain it in the future? That is, should I switch from lineage OS to /e/ OS?

Basically its the same source from Ivan. You need to try, since /e/OS apps and bliss launcher might have an impact either positive or negative…

How do you want me to test the other one linked to your other answer using the same procedure and rom (dreamlte) or the same procedure and rom (greatlte), because in the latter case I think I had already tested without success.
Strange though that lineage os 21 works under android 14 on my greatlte and not the compiled version of E/OS tracks?
Just the App Lounge anonymous mode doesn’t work or only works halfway, but I still have this problem, I don’t know if it’s normal? Aurora store is ok in anonymous mode
And I also wanted to understand why the banking apps detect it root is a function to be activated because it seems to me that e/os is designed to be functional with any official android application or is it because I go through aurorastore and not App Lounge?

Both same version, one is A13 (/e/OS-T) and other is A14 (/e/OS-U or a14), The feedback for greatlte is the U version is not working, so I made also /e/OS-T versions for this device. If you have dreamlte or dream2lte the A14 version should work
