[UNOFFICIAL BUILD] Testing first! Samsung Galaxy S 5 LTE (klte) for /e/OS-U

Installed it from TWRP after full wipe (advanced all checked) and format (“yes”).

And then ADB sideload e-2.7-u-20250123-UNOFFICIAL-klte.zip

It doesn’t boot loop, but boots to “e” logo with animation and stays forever.

AXP.OS (short for “Advanced XPerience OS”) based on DivestOS by @steadfasterX

Installation & operation successfully:

AXP.OS-18.1-20241223-RECOVERY-klte.img
AXP.OS-18.1-20241223-dos-klte.zip(stable)

AXP.OS is not /e/OS. Advanced XPerience OS or AXP.OS is a more private and more secure aftermarket mobile operating system. And it is being further developed by @steadfasterX, who is recognized and appreciated in the customROM branch.

We both see eye to eye on that, so from now on I will use two red flags, when a ROM does that! :triangular_flag_on_post: :triangular_flag_on_post:

That is Android 11 – given, with OTA and stable, but got nothing to do with /e Android14 not booting.

i am not following this thread, but see some notification on my PC :

even if disable in system updater settings ?

my thtrough is that you install so much test versions that you don’t take care of that point, i think that the overwrite is there…( i hope…)

Big YES, otherwise I would not set the :triangular_flag_on_post: – honestly.

I have that simple rule: I keep the recovery I used on first custom rom install!
My goto is TWRP, and I only have one OrangeFox.

And if set “Do not update recovery” I sure don’t want it.
That’s how I roll — my device, my rules :muscle: :muscle: :muscle:

When it happened the first time I scrated my head, because thesettings were right.
And I checkt every time today, and yet, Ikept a laptop with ODIN runing all day.

It is not /e/OS, it is not /e Android14 not booting - but it is up to date and works. I’d rather have a A11-sparrow in my hand than a A14-pigeon on the roof.

:triangular_flag_on_post: i am disapointed, :triangular_flag_on_post:
5 years ago, we were hoped for a 007 version, or a core version with app install popositions in the fisrt boot setup menu…

they need to eat, and have got lessons from the Mandrake experience.
