ROM boots up fine, but is lagging a lot as mentioned in this post of the original rom https://xdaforums.com/t/rom-15-ota-crdroid-11-for-xiaomi-mi-8-lite-platina-unofficial-encryption.4730430/post-90074787

Maybe A14 would be better for this phone?

I tried but could not build for A14

Oh, too bad, but no worries, I can always go back to e/os 2.3 legacy, wich runs fine.

Would another rom as e/os base be better? As per xda, other A15 roms run more smoothly than crdroid. Derpfest was mentioned, though I dont know if this rom is Lineage based.

Any chance of getting a 3.3 version of this?

Update for /e/OS-a15 3.3

Did you by any chance use different sources for this?

@ronnz98

I’ve been sticking with the legacy 2.3 build of /e/OS because it’s the only stable one, but App Lounge has finally stopped working.

Is it possible to make a build using the oldest possible sources but with an updated App Lounge?

I saw the new A16 crDroid build [ROM][16][OTA] crDroid 12 for Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite [platina][UNOFFICIAL][ENCRYPTION] | XDA Forums but I’m skeptical it’ll perform well since A15 was already too heavy for this hardware. It’s weird because the Redmi Note 7 has the same SOC and handles all your newer builds just fine.

Check this one:

Thank you for your effort. But it’s booting straight to fastboot after flashing, unfortunately.
