Whats the difference between Custom and Unofficial version?

What apps are missing in custom?

Mostly some prebuilt apps are missing - I try to leave out what can be replaced by other apps.

You can try the unofficial version, but not sure if my adoptions were ok, ie ROM might not boot

Please pull those builds, both the 2.0 and 3.2 builds both custom and unofficial break the nvram partition rendering wifi aswell as cellular inoperable, it can be fixed but its a long proccess.
Besides that this keeps crashing

If you need logs or help with this feel feel to send me a private.

Did you also try this one:

There is even a A16 version now:

No i didnt try 2.6 but i can after i fix my nvram partition which annoyingly requires opening the device, ill try both and let you know!

2.6 im not sure if im doing something wrong, the A16 you linked works but its super slow and wifi is working but wont connect… Ill test some more and make sure wifi is working on stock
Good news the A16 build is aarch64 and not 32bit

did you tryed using newer TWRP ?
or recovery-e ?

Hold on, I have an idea…

Wifi works on stock miui, but doesent on crdroid A16 just a note

/e recovery gave me a blank screen

I made now 3 different builds where I tried something:

e-3.2-t-20251112-UNOFFICIAL-dandelion-A.zip

e-3.2-t-20251112-UNOFFICIAL-dandelion-B.zip

e-3.2-t-20251112-UNOFFICIAL-dandelion-C.zip

All of those builds install fine but get stuck in the redmi logo, i tried different recoveries and ways to install them.
Do i need android 10 for the stock os to install those?

Last try, if none of them work properly I will do an A16 based build when /e/OS-a16 is available

e-3.2-t-20251113-UNOFFICIAL-dandelion-A.zip

e-3.2-t-20251113-UNOFFICIAL-dandelion-B.zip

e-3.2-t-20251113-UNOFFICIAL-blossom-A.zip

e-3.2-t-20251113-UNOFFICIAL-blossom-B.zip

Dandelion installs but stuck on redmi logo, blossom builds dont install

A16 on this device is a terrible idea it only comes with 2gb ram i installed crdroid and only had 300mb of ram free, the whole time freezing. If you can make A13 build based on those sources that would be fantastic since this device is very weak

So both A and B build variants do not work?

Correct, but as i stated im unaware if i need the android 10 stock firmware before…
Also the recoveries inside those builds produce blank screen

I thinks its best to follow instructions above as in original thread and use proposed recoveries

Thats exactly what i did aswell as trying the recovery located inside the build .zip
