The install instructions you refer to, appear to contain dead links for a number of files that need to be installed. I have managed to find recovery.img, boot.img and dtbo.img in the evolution X rom folder. Installed them all by fastboot and indeed got an evolutionX recovery. Installing Eos however gives many verification errors. After reboot it sticks on the bouncy e logo. Never gets any further. I wonder if I have the right install instructions and files. evolution X installs just fine actually.
I tried again and was now able to download all the files in the instruction on the first page of the link you provide. I have completed all the steps and now have orangefox again as recovery. The only difference being that in the process I flash your e/os rom instead of the Evolution-X rom.
So i did the firmware, the dynamic conversion etc. , I changed the FS to f2fs. I am now again stuck with a never ending e logo at boot….. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
Should I first install Ev-X and then E-os overtop? You will know I guess.
I am trying to hang in here, but almost giving up…
I try too,
clean flash, format data en f2fs or ext4, no boot. Data partition seem broken after (can format again on given recovery, need to use another one)
a15 flash and boot and after dirty flash a16, not working too
