thanks for maintaining this build! Itā€™s much appreciated as I want to keep my ā€œoldā€ device alive.

Installing the linked boot.img, however, sent me into a bootloop. Itā€™s a newer version than this build (Jan26) linked to the top post in xda.

Iā€™ll try to figure out what went wrong. Just wanted to let you know.

simply only use the files builded by /e/-ronnz98, but with specific instructions from orginal XDA Unofficial LineageOS developer.

thanks for your help. If I read @ronnz98 s post correctly, the recovery I have to use is included in the how-to post on xda. If there is another one, Iā€™ll gladly use it.

Update: I can enter Fastboot-mode, so flashing another boot.img should be possible. I donā€™t want to brick anything (more) though. Iā€™m currently thinking about extracting a stock boot.img from the latest official xiaomi rom available for this device to unbrick and try again.

Input on whether this makes sense is appreciated.

On some recent devices, the recovery-manager is included into the ā€œboot.imgā€ file

Yes, this seems to be the case here. However, if I flash the boot.img file linked here via fastboot I bootloop.

Hence my original question: Is this the correct boot.img? (@ronnz98 wrote this post in November ā€˜25, the xda post features a boot.img from Jan 26. I canā€™t find the boot.img used for this ROM)

PS: I have to wait a whooping 30 minutes before being allowed to answer since Iā€™m new here I suppose. Please excuse the long waiting time..

thanks for the answer. A senior member at xda, the maintainer of the Note 11S Lineage rom in fact, tried to help me with the process. I ended up bricking my device (for the moment). So I opened a thread at xda seeking help to restore recovery/fastboot with mtkclient. https://xdaforums.com/t/help-needed-unbrick-via-mtkclient.4777355/
