First of all, thanks for developing the firmware for this phone.

Installed /e/OS A11 20240606 — can I flash version 3.6 from the old recovery by just sideloading the ROM? Or do I need to install a new recovery first? If so, which one should I install — the OrangeFox listed in the XDA guide?

Orangefox works fine, i dont know if its possible to flash over, just back up your data and do clean install to be sure.

Hello. I installed a custom this ROM. Works perfect! Thanks a lot for this!

In Settings → System → Buttons → Home long press action the option “Kill foreground app” is missing - all other options are still present. It was a very convenient feature and I miss it. Now to fully stop an app I have to go to Settings → Apps → select the app → Force stop, which is slow and inconvenient.

On LineageOS A16 (not this device) this action is available. My question: was this option removed only in the build for Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, or has /e/OS removed the “Kill foreground app” action across all devices in a new Android 13+?
