Limited test was that I installed for him this ROM, and it boots, Aurora Store is working and installing Brave, Brave is working fine. Installed Gray and video works with full sync with no stutters on FullHD, didn’t test higher res, because of time constraint (not my device), but I can ask him to test anything else if you are interested.
In summary, at first glance, everything works. Thank you, he is very happy, and now will give tablet to his 12-year-old son

I installed version e-3.1.4-a14 on my SM-T580 / gtaxllte.
It’s been working fine so far. Today I noticed that I can’t establish a Bluetooth connection.
I can’t activate Bluetooth on my tablet.
Do you know this issue?

even with version e-3.1.4-a14-20251011-UNOFFICIAL-gtaxlwifi, Bluetooth don’t turn on.
I also tested the tablet with Lineage 19 and the original Samsung Android 8.1, and Bluetooth works.
I checked at the technical specifications for the SM-T580wifi and found that the hardware on this tablet only supports Bluetooth 4.2.
It looks like the driver isn’t working with the tablet’s hardware (e.g., I see the buttons for turning on Bluetooth, but they won’t work).
Is it possible to run e/os with a different driver (e.g., Lineage 19.1)?

Confirming that: bluetooth seems not to work at all, trying to enable it results in no action. Reverting back to T is not possible without complete wipe and reflash, without that it ends in hanged boot (at the e logo).
first of all thanks and respect for this amazing job, as far as I know the only option left to have a secure galaxy a6. i hope to make someone who really likes his old tab very happy with it.
i installed your latest rom on an sm-t585 and everything seems to be nice and smooth, except that the wifi keeps disconnecting and then won’t connect again, saying that it’s not possible with the current security settings. i disabled every internet-related security setting i could find but it keeps coming back. can’t find anything about it online. have you got an idea what’s going on?
wifi worked fine on the stock rom and i have only got access to one router, which also works fine on all other devices.
it’s a shared router that I don’t manage, if I understand it correctly that means I can’t change that setting, right? the owner of the tablet has a private router, I’ll try there. thanks!

Just tried this T580 A13 rom. Seems to work, but should I expect it to be a litte sluggisch and jittery? It is not very smooth.. Sure it’s an old device but….
