Might be, older devices have issues with WPA3 - so use WPA2

This appears to be the case as I encounter. I set is up to WPA2/WPA3 on both Guest and internal wifi and it will only work on the guest network for some reason with exactly the same setting except that the one has the roaming option (multiple acces points) turned on oh well.. will downgrade to WPA 2 then.. :wink:

Which ROM would you suggest for smoothness?

A12 based /e/OS-S is the smoothest version, but reached end of life. I will focus on A14 builds in the future

The ones you provided for testing suffered a Bluetooth issue. Is/will that be fixed?

Hi, I installed e-3.3-t-20251215-UNOFFICIAL-gtaxllte.zip and it seems to work all correctly.

I’ve seen that it’s based on Android 13, there is a plan to push it to A14 or A15?

there is already a14 based [UNOFFICIAL BUILD] Galaxy Tab A - SM-T580 (gtaxlwifi), SM-T585 (gtaxllte), SM-P580 (gtanotexlwifi), and SM-P585 (gtanotexllte) for /e/OS-S and /e/OS-U - #46

The developer has dropped support. There exist an A14 /e/OS-a14 build that you can find here in the forum. However I could not build a14 since a while, but a13 (/e/OS-T) seems to work still well. Until no one is developing further /e/OS-T will be last build until supported

I was having trouble with lagginess on the e-3.3 build, so I reflashed the e-3.1.4 build which works better, meaning that the screen is more responsive though it still has some lagginess, which I’m ok with.

Also, I installed the “SaverTuner” app which allows the user to tweak the CPU settings to boost the clockrate when opening an app, which does help reduce lagginess.

Well darn, the bluetooth does not work on the e-3.1.4 build. I’ll retry the e-3.3 build and see if it is all working there.
