Unofficial GSI Android 15

Merci Piero!

Je vais essayer ça. Comme je l’ai dis, je débute, mais j’aime ça

Hmm…

As I said, I’m a beginner and not yet completely comfortable with terminal commands.

If it’s not too much to ask, could you please give me the steps to use the DD command and extract the requested files?

Sorry to bother you…

the more uncertain step on an obscure device like your’s, is the initial one : unlocking the bootloader !
have a look in “developer options” if you are abble to allow “OEM unlocking”
and also USB debbuging …

“developer options” = activated

“OEM unlocking” = activated

david@MBP-LMDE:/usr/lib/android-sdk/platform-tools$ adb reboot bootloader
david@MBP-LMDE:/usr/lib/android-sdk/platform-tools$ fastboot flashing unlock
FAILED (remote: 'Fastboot flashing unlock not allowed. ')
fastboot: error: Command failed

I think that it finish here…:sob:

when first reboot to bootloader after desactivate / reactivate “OEM unlolocking” is there anything to do using long press on volume up to validate ? (like on samsung ?)

what is the device soc ?

please share photo of the bootloader screen ?

what is the return for :

adb shell getprop

Start FastbootD from Fastboot Mode:

$ fastboot reboot fastboot

To boot into FastbootD from Recovery Mode:
Press and hold the Vol keys, then press and hold the Power key

Update to version 3.3!

https://sourceforge.net/projects/e-os/files/GSI/3.3-a15-20251211-microG-gsi.img.xz/download

You can use Update function from TrebleDroid Settings.
Please, make a backup first!

Whoever is rooted should be very careful.Update failed again with Treble updater and root is lost.TrebleDroid and update menu are force closed.Updating rooted device is definitely a problem or maybe some magisk patches !

If you are willing to try again, I can add su as support. I had not taken into account an update to a rooted system.

Dont waste your time because of me.On the next update :slightly_smiling_face:

How can I get this working on Lenovo TB-8505F?

Assuming you have the boot loader unlocked, here are the steps I took:
./adb reboot bootloader

./fastboot erase userdata
./fastboot erase cache
./fastboot flash --disable-verity --disable-verification vbmeta vbmeta.img
./fastboot flash --disable-verity --disable-verification boot boot.img
./fastboot -w
./fastboot flash system lineage-18.1-20240121-UNOFFICIAL-arm64_bgS.img
./fastboot reboot

I was asking for /e/OS not LineageOS

Anyways can you make a build that supports arm64, a/b, vndk 29

/e/OS is a fork of LineageOS, so same method apply..

It’s just an example of how you can install your device. I thought it was pretty clear. Otherwise you didn’t give much detail. Oh… and be more polite when you don’t know and ask for help.

Yeah but when I try to flash these builds I get trapped in orange state and when it restarts it goes back to orange state

is any other lineage based GSI able to boot ?

if none boots, try a compatible device : Search results for 'Tab #e-devices:unofficial-builds order:latest' - /e/OS community

only ones i have gotten to work is /e/OS 1.17q (the one you don’t want me using) and an unofficial lineageos 19 gsi

plus, all of the unofficial builds are for devices that i happen to not own

Your tablet is e-waste.Its below sys req for Android 15 and this build doesnt have any low ram optimizations. How to install and whatsoever is your problem.
