Update to DAVx⁵ 4.5 with WebDAV Push support

The latest versions of DAVx⁵ brings support for WebDAV Push, which should save a lot of battery life. As of Murena OS 3.2 the version of DAVx⁵ is 4.3.10, I know this will probably be in the roadmap someday, but it would be a bliss to embed this version soon.

before this version is intergrated in e/OS, could we download it to our mobile phone with gaining the advantages of webdav push ?

fwiw, on an FP6+e/OS 3.4, Davx5 from upstream/playstore (atm, v4.5.8-gplay) is installed and functional here.

support @ Davx5 recommends against using 4.3.x, and will not support it directly.

Hi,

On my Fairphone 3, I use DAVx 4.5.7.1 (I’ve been using DAVx for over 5 years) to manage my calendar and contacts with my PC (framagenda) with etar and default contact app.

With my new Fairphone 6, I’m trying to do the same thing without installing DAVx, and it’s not working. The calendar and contacts are in the accounts, but they are inaccessible from the calendar (Etar) and contacts app.

I installed DAVx 4.5.9 on Murena, and now my contacts and calendar are synchronized with the Murena apps again.
