Upgrade Samsung Galaxy S10 5G from 1.19.1-s (A12) to 3.2-t

i don’t know… maybe model specific

On the PC it says

Total xfer: 1.00x

But on the device itself it displays the following:

so what OS on the PC ?

you will need to upgrade the recovery first.

Linux mint installed on the PC

Same way? ADB sideload?

Is it OK to reboot?

reboot the device into download mode

.

on the PC, Download Heimdall_2.2.2_linux_x86.zip (custom android builds), extract it, and put the heimdall binary into the same folder as recovery-e-3.2-a15-20251024540112-community-beyondx.img

and run :

heimdall flash --RECOVERY recovery-e-3.2-a15-20251024540112-community-beyondx.img -- no-reboot

the options I get are:#

1 Enter fastbboot

2. Reboot to bootloader

  1. Reboot to recovery

choose

  1. Reboot to bootloader

I’m getting this now:

heimdall: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.38’ not found (required by heimdall)

I may need an older version of heimdall

have a try using your 1.4.2 version

I managed to install Heimdall from software manager and it seems to have worked?

sudo heimdall flash --RECOVERY ./platform-tools/recovery-e-3.2-a15-20251024540112-community-beyondx.img --no-reboot
[sudo] password for xxxxxxx:
Heimdall v1.4.2
