I want to upgrade from Pie to Q. Before I upgrade to /e/-Q I have to install stock ROM as stated in the manual (https://doc.e.foundation/devices/beryllium/upgrade). I think all my user data will be lost. Isn’t it?
What is the best procedure to save all apps with their settings? I have some paid apps. I don’t want to install them again and have to re-register and so on.
In the past I tried OAndBackupX. The result was not a perfect backup. It doesn’t restored the app as it was before the backup.
Is the procedure with adb backup a good way?
adb backup -apk -shared -all -f backupname.ab
