Using a USB flash as portable memory

Dear all, I need to solve a simple problem but seems I’m to old to know how to fix it.
I have a USB memory where I want to store some files that are too big for my “new” (refurbed) Pixel 5.
It seems that my Pixel5 (android 13) is able to read\write on it only if it is formatted by the phone with the jurassic FAT32 file system (that is not able to store files bigger than 2GB o_O

Can you help me to let Pixel5 read\write also a exFat or ext4 or NTFS or F2FS or other file system compatible with my geological era (suitable for file bigger than 120 GB) ?
