Visual Voicemail - can it work in /e/OS? (I use T-mobile Visual voicemail)

When attempting to sideload the T-Mobile Visual Voicemail (com.tmobile.vvm.application) the apk said it was incompatible. I attempted the sideload because the App Lounge would not allow download of the application for some reason.

Does anyone know if this is an app version issue, /e/OS issue, or something else?

Visual Voicemail is essential to my productivity so not having it will force me to stop using voicemail.

Figured this out but don’t remember how otherwise I would post the details here. Currently, this is what I do know/remember in case it helps anyone:

• The app says I installed it from “microG Companion”.
• I most likely either:
   a. found it on another app store
   b. sideloaded it with the adb push / install command with --force or some other modifier.
   c. copied the apk do my device and installed it with a different installer (microG?)
• The app runs as well as it did on my stock OnePlus 6 (which is glitchy and full of bugs but that is a T-mobile quality issue)

Thank you! I haven’t been able to get Visual voicemail working on the regular phone app, but the T-Mobile app is working!

I’d still prefer the phone app but this will do. I felt like I was in the dark ages having to call my voicemail there for a bit.
