Ways to configure "Apps"?

The “Apps” app store has some peculiarities that I’d like to configure:

  • It offers me updates for apps I didn’t install with “Apps”. It shouldn’t do that
  • If offers me updates to non-stable alpha versions. It shouldn’t do that
  • I can’t add manual exceptions for apps that I don’t want “Apps” to handle

Any suggestions?
