Waze auf Fairphone3 - keine Map angezeigt

Hallo zusammen, hoffe richtige Kategorie erwischt.

Ich installierte mir /e/ auf mein FP3 und nutze bisher WAZE Navigation. Ich kann die App zwar installieren, es erscheint jedoch keine Karte. Oben steht “Suche Netzwerk”. Das könnte der Schlüssel sein, weiß leider nicht weiter.

Jemand eine Idee? Wäre wohl dringend.

P.S.: Neuinstallation und Cache gelöscht schon ausprobiert - ohne Erfolg.

App Berechtigungen in den Einstellungen schon geprüft?

Since the last update, Waze doesn’t crash anymore but it says “Waiting for networks” so it’s not able to show a map.

There is no problem with app authorization.

Hi, I am Fred from France, this is my first message.

I would like to know if Waze can work normally on a smartphone with /e/OS. (I like Waze but it seems that it doesn’t work any longer on my BlackBerry Passport. I’m going to change my phone for this reason and some other. I hope Waze will be OK with a new /e/OS phone because I don’t want to buy a “googled” Android smartphone).

I found a workaround on their gitlab https://gitlab.e.foundation/e/backlog/-/issues/1946

To sum up, uninstall waze. Install an older version (4.53.5.0). Open it and follow the initialization instructions everything should work then you can update the app.

It worked on my FP3
