4 Mar Update
Testing : The lilac build had issues. We will have to debug what changed between this and previous build.

  • Builds for devices set for this weeks release yet to start. Issue is the same resources are working on multiple tasks. Not sure we will be able to meet the deadline this week.
Now I guess you would realize why the job openings put out need to be filled on priority

4 Mar Update Part II

  • Builds for devices scheduled this week started.

  • Post completion of the v0.15 testing the builds which failed during the previous weeks will be run again.
This list includes the following devices
    On Pie
    find7
    On Q
    a3xeltexx , jactivelte , bacon, gts4lvwifi, hlte, s5neolte , a5y17lte , a7y17lte ,m8 , s3ve3gxx , wt88047

/e/ ROM Maintainers
We are working on improving the process for ROM Maintainers in /e/. Apparently the builds were being made through the /e/ build infra without any intervention from the Maintainers. This was partly because of delays from our side in providing access to them for various servers and systems. We will move the active ROM Maintainer to the testing channel where they should be able to test their device builds before it gets shared with all.

5 Mar Update

  • The builds for the devices due to be released and upgraded are complete. Expect to release the builds later today.

  • Testing of v0.15 is still in progress. Hope to release for all users on dev channel early next week.

Pl note: The Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact lilac has been removed from the official supported list. The reason is we found some proprietary code related to the Camera in the build. As you may be aware we cannot have any proprietary code on /e/OS. If we are able to remove the proprietary stuff from the code base we will restore the device to the list.

6 Mar Update
The new devices scheduled for this week have been released. The images are available for download.
Will update on the progress on all threads

Hi Manoj,
should I expect an OTA update or what ?

Pretty sure we’d have to manually flash an official build, after that we’ll receive official OTA updates

Android version is the same, so we should be able to flash it over the existing installation, like an OTA update would do.

Sorry, I forgot to say that I’m on 0.10-p-2020081467794-test-gts210vewifi
