I hope they release today because it’s been two weeks that I have not been able to use my new FP6 because of the reboot problem.
Community builds still not complete. We complete all builds and then initiate the release.
Isnt this location / reboot problem affecting all FP6 users? If so should it not be prioritized somehow?
No, not all of them.
I had random reboots on 3.0.4, not on the later builds
Weird! I am on 3.1.3 official, so are many users in this thread and last week thread. Many seem to have frequent reboot also when location services are enabled.
I think it is more that users without problems don’t post about not having problems.
The problems seem to occur with certain situations/providers so not everyone is effected by it.
That said I hoped I could have used gps the last week of my us road trip, but seems less and less likely.
Still thanks to the team for the hard work trying to fix the problems.
We are all looking forward for next week dev news, and the week after, and so on…
Enjoy the weekend ![]()
Yes you are right.
For what it’s worth @Manoj i managed to set the location services back on and still keep the phone stable (no reboot), by disabling the eSIM (canada provider).
My phone is more useful with location services on and wifi internet than with mobile service ![]()
Have a good weekend everyone and keep up the good work towards data sovereignty!
