AA does not work on A15 on any device. v3.3 will make it work again on A15.
When will Google Pixel 5 (redfin) get an OTA upgrade to A15? I thought this was one of your core devices, being sold through the Murena store and all.
The plan is to get all devices currently on A12, A13, A14 and A15 on to A16.
The developers are working on this. In case any device is not capable of handling the A16 builds we will share that information. We expect that some of the older gen devices like the S7, S8’s an A16 build may not be possible. In such cases we will work on getting them to the highest OS version possible.
The reason behind this plan to upgrade where possible, is A12 does not receive security patches anymore. This will next impact A13 and so on.
As mentioned previously all devices we sell in our shop, with official builds are priority candidates for OTA OS upgrades. The redfin is marked for an A16 upgrade.

Last december, the redfin was marked for an A14 upgrade, a few weeks later after asking an estimate, I was told it was marked for an A15 upgrade. Almost a year later it is now marked for an A16 upgrade which is great but still makes me wonder if it will happen in a foreseeable future.
I do realize the amount of work that murena’s developers do and I am grateful for having the possibility to use it. That would be great to have an estimate or at least to be told to expect it (or not) in 2026

As I mentioned we are planning on upgrading all devices to A16. If I had an estimate date I would have shared it.
Most newer devices like the redfin have a better chance of getting A16. For the developers it is a straightforward question why spend time modifying the device for A15 if A16 source is available.
2026 first or second quarter would be a fair estimate.

So, if i understood well, we keep the A13 till first/second quarter?
Yes, the A16 OS version will not come before 1/2md quarter of 2026
