Just a little question, sometimes the recent apps keeps crashing on my phone, so i can no longer use it before rebooting my phone. As the former pop-up saying thay trabuchet keeps crashing no longer appears, i’d like to know where i can find the new app that manages the recents so that i can force stop without rebooting everything…
System settings → Apps → (maybe scroll to find “All Apps” (then scroll or: upper right corner for search or make system apps available via 3-dot-menu)
?
Edit: I may have misinterpreted your question…
At one point in the quite recent past, the Trebuchet “Recents” contribution had evolved into Bliss. So the advice at that point was don’t disable Bliss, but if you want to use an alternative launcher, be sure to set that as default alongside Bliss.
This advice still works for me. Occasionally I clear Bliss storage, quite often after an update. 2.3-t-20240821427106-dev-ocean.
No problem @obacht, i just wanted to know which app was in charge of the recents to clean its storage.
Worked for me @aibd. Cleaning bliss storage brought the recents back on track. A shame because i just spent hours trying to sort out my apps… Now everything is a mess again. Not a significant issue though as i’m usually using lawnchair.
