because it IS Google Play itself.

No, it is microG successfully mimicking Google Play so Apps (including Aurora Store) mistake it for the real thing, which is the purpose of microG.

In current Aurora Store, alternatively there’s Settings - Updates - Filter apps from other sources (“Don’t check for updates for apps installed from sources outside Aurora Store”).
