No, you need android 11 as the base for installing eos.

in case you didn’t know, It’s pretty easy to install stock 11 on sunfish, google makes it easy, lol!

That warning is out of place for sunfish. If you are running Android 11 now, you are good to install eOS-r. However, if you have updated to android 12 on your device you will have to flash the google stock rom for android 11 before installing e.
