We have asked the developers to learn from the Samsung model of release. They distribute their phones all over the world. This requires firmware specific for different countries and models. When we as a user check for an update the phone software will cross check our location and then send the appropriate message to the Samsung site which in turn downloads the appropriate build for our device.
In our case this process becomes a bit complicated as we have modified the original stock ROM code as @aibd correctly points out. This plus the fact that eventually we plan to get this process done for all the devices we support.
At the moment we are asking the developers to concentrate on one device variant the S9 /S9+ Will update the progress here

this means no luck for the S7 ?
It’s far from great, imho, that you will not be supporting a phone you sold.
Was something definitely excluded already? …
