Building a5y17lte from docker fails with "Can't detect the android version"

If this builde.sh script replicates the docker instructions “only without docker”, then it’s clear why they don’t work. The script contains these lines:

# Environment for the LineageOS branches name
# See https://github.com/LineageOS/android_vendor_cm/branches for possible options
export BRANCH_NAME=‘v1-oreo’

The ‘v1-oreo’ branch doesn’t exist in that repo.

That’s the git of the user which has created it. I don’t see a benefit of a script in github. It’s the sane as in forum

I think it’s important that people know where things originate and that that be made clear from the start.
