Chinese SIM card not detected

I recently bought a PH1 and flashed the latest /e/ (Pie), but the sim card is not detected, and the phone will reboot if I shut it down while charging. The card is from China Mobile, and the network type is LTE/LTE-A

Though I don’t have to worry about backing up the data since the repair guy in the store formatted my phone after I sent lt back.
Should I raise an issue about this on gitlab? I think this is a kinda severe problem
