haven’t seen it mentioned here yet: iOS and macOS got itself a new slick Syncthing app - “Synctrain” (“sushitrain” on github) with some additional tricks yet unrealized in the upstream package or Android:
- selective sync
- on-demand requests (“streaming”)
- preview thumbnails
It makes using Syncthing between macOS ↔ Android and /e/OS a more viable option, Apple users should give it a try. It hides the complexity of the WebUI and prioritises for its authors “on demand” need. I’m sure the authors choices will inspire other syncthing development.
There’s a long beta thread on it and author put his thoughts into a blog post.
