Yes /e/OS is an Android System based on LineageOS,
You also could use the F-droid and Aurora Stores.

Most apps will work fine but not all apps will work (some apps will need Google Play Services and won’t work on microG and on all phones except the Fairphone 3 you need to unlock the bootloader and can’t relock it which makes banking apps often think the phone is rooted).

Pls, don’t use ANY app from Aptoide. Most apk are cracked and have keyloggers and / or virus on board !!!
Use Aurora for apps from Playstore
