Hello /e/OS community,
I’ve recently been using /e/OS on my device and have encountered an issue with app compatibility. Specifically, I’m finding that some apps that I regularly used on other Android systems are not functioning as expected on /e/OS. This includes problems like apps not launching, crashing, or missing key features.
For example, after installing certain apps, I noticed that they either failed to open or exhibited reduced functionality compared to their performance on standard Android. This issue seems to stem from the absence of Google Play Services, which many apps rely on for full functionality.
I’ve tried various troubleshooting steps, such as updating the apps and checking for any /e/OS-specific settings that might affect app performance, but the problem persists.
If anyone else has faced similar issues or has suggestions on how to resolve app compatibility problems on /e/OS, I would greatly appreciate your advice!
