Feedback for v3.0.4

Yes, regarding Fairphones (and other devices sold by Murena), an OTA upgrade (Android version upgrade) is generally planned as soon as the ‘official’ build is available in the new version.
I’m also not sure if it’s possible to perform a manual upgrade with the bootloader beeing locked - without erasing the device’s data. Maybe it is, but I prefer to wait for the official upgrade from the system updates menu.

Update to 3.04s went well; thanks to /e/-team !
3.04 will be the last buid for this phone : with a very basic use (phone, sms, mails, few browser), how much time can I use it, without too much risks, from now ? Could there be some community builds ? Bought at dec-2021 (esolutions), I wish to use-it 5 years (dec-2026 ?).

All seems fine. BUT, the update from 3.0.1 to 3.0.4 took about 2 hours !!
It’s a little long, no ?

Hope the 3.1 T (or 3.1 U ?) will be a bit faster

Version of /e/OS or Stock which existed previously : 3.0.2 a14

All seems to be working too, thanks e/os team.

Only two questions :

  1. I need to enable ip masking in advanced privacy to have internet connection in 4/5G mode. Otherwise, I don’t have internet connection in this mode. Why ?
  2. When A15 will be available for e/os official build ?

Regards.

Everything seems fine so far. No surprise, since nothing really changed. I deactivated the browser, so no change here, and I can’t tell anything about those “accessibility related updates”, which are not mentioned in the release notes.
