Galaxy S7 (930A)

Any way to get a Galaxy S7 930A de-googled? Ubuntu OS, BTW.

From what I’ve read here, I think there are some regional considerations for the Galaxy modems, so you might want to specify the one that applies.

Also, if your carrier requires (or will soon require) VoLTE, be aware that Samsungs have a proprietary version of IMS that has up to now not been able to be implemented in /e/.

At least that’s how my non-technical mind interprets the situation.

your model number, avialable in the
“settings menu” → Plus/System → About phone → “Model number”
must be supported by the device code name of the build you choose.

example :
model name : Galaxy s7
code name : herolte
model number : SM-G930F, SM-G930FD, SM-G930S, SM-G930K, SM-G930L, SM-G930W8
(lineage_wiki/herolte.yml at master · LineageOS/lineage_wiki · GitHub )
