Google Calendar won't sync as an Account?

Hey, I want to use google calendar on e/os due to it being easy to share with non-e/os users and also being able to add to a joint calendar with others, the problem is when I have my google account on the account manager settings, it keeps giving sync errors for the calendar

have you tried this response - adding an app password (“token”) first? applies if you have 2-step-verification on the account

Calendar cannot use Google account

I managed to get the calendar integrated in the Calendar app by following the steps here, but including the previous extra step of setting up an app password.

Hey;

• I followed the step mentioned at CalDAV Google Calendar - 8 Quick Easy Steps to Sync CalDAV
  but only my Contact appear.
• When I sign in via the MicroG: only Google Keep pretend to sync and the calendar sync once, but not further event are syncing.

what else I could try ??
