I have tried (without enter any e.mail)
with ecloud server and jitsi server
Same screen on my ePhone and on my iPhone
On both, I can see myself if I want but I preferred to see the other

I’ve seen the video you posted and it helped me a lot.
Now I have my Jitsi Server working just fine.

I have the same problem in my home server.
Either with phone app or with browser (/e/ or in regular google).
Couldn’t find the answer so far.

Are you trying with same server or different on both devices? Please try same server on both devices with both official jitsi instance and /e/visio instance.

Yes same server, I can join the metting room, without and with password, under 3g and 4g on both devices …
(what are the two fellow jitsers icons I have seen without password ?)
Is the absence of e.mail declared in settings could be the issue ?
(it was not filled in the How To, so I didn’t filed it two)

Nope, email isn’t the issue. Did you try a different Jitsi instance?

The only tracker in the F-Droid variant is the analytics Giphy pulls in which seems to be disabled: Giphy privvacy: remove pingback and fonts by saghul · Pull Request #11457 · jitsi/jitsi-meet · GitHub
