Knox is a Remote Monitoring system which can work at many levels for different purposes mainly of a commercial nature for Samsung and also their third party clients. I have observed some of the locking properties revealed by

adb shell getprop

which I believe to be connected to remote locking do remain after /e/ install.

I believe Knox is kept fully alive on a Samsung Official build all the time that Warranty void = 0 exists. When one unlocks the bootloader Warranty void = 1.

I would be surprised if Remote Monitoring would remain after /e/OS install – but in this context I would never say never. But that said, to an extent Knox Guard is deprived of its job of protecting the Samsung Warranty and other parts of their T&C.
