The the device can’t be found with smartphone selector and it is also in the list for new devices for V15

Yes you are right. We removed it from the list of supported devices. That way it comes in as a new device! Will update this list.

The information would be shared on this forum besides our newsletters. The plan was to release /e/OS v this month (June). Due to the v3.0 issues we had to slightly moved ahead the release dates and now expect the release earliest by end of June or first weeks of July along with v3.1

Will V builds have a test session like the U version did in November? Or will a stable version come out directly?

Today I have an working A16 on a Redmi Note 10 Pro ,and complete Google free .
And if I take a look at /e/ then is has since a few weeks Android 14 and if I am correct /e/ is not total degoogled .
The software has potential and I will follow this rom, but I will not flash it on my phone .
Why not remove all calls to google servers and replaced by Open source and why so far behind in developing the android versions

It should be good that there came more Degoogled OS

What is your reference for the “few weeks”?
Android 15 is currently scheduled to arrive with the next /e/OS version, 3.1 …

Because /e/OS users want (and are promised) that their Apps still work.

Android 13 is still well within security update support, and Android 14 will be until the beginning of 2027, if prior Android versions are any indication.
That’s of course not a reason for the supposed lag, but it’s a reason for this not being the drama it is made out to be by Android version number aficionados.

The more, the better indeed.

Manoj, I see my Oneplus 6 Enchilada is on this list for A15. I am currently on A13 eOS 3.0.1. Does this mean I can go to A15 AND is the process to do so 1) download A15.zip to my phone, 2) Select Updater, 3) Select the hamburger in top right corner, 4) Select Local Update, 5) Choose downloaded A15 file and proceed as process shows??? OR do I need to do the upgrade to A15 via my laptop?
eOS has been my daily driver for multiple years and I am very nervous to mess up my (and my wife’s) phones.

When is the official android 15 for fp5 coming, because if I buy a fp5 from murena, it comes with e os android 15 according to the website?

Any word on Teracube 2e? I’m uneasy still running Android 12. Will we get anything beyond Android 12? I’m currently running 3.0.1 (works great BTW) but I’m worried about Android 12 not getting security updates anymore.

Will the SHIFTphone 8 “otter” eventually be added to the list and receive Android 15?
While their Google Build(ShiftOS-G) still is on Android 14, like /e/OS, their deGoogled build(ShiftOS-L) is already on Android 15.

I have a edge 30 running /e on a13. Release of a15 is close therefore I am planning on skipping a14. When are the images or ota file available?

As you asked a similar in Documentation Suggestions the /e/ ROM is an OTA_PACKAGE for > 90 % of devices including dubai.

But OTA_PACKAGE for AOSP does not include Android version upgrade. (Although /e/ devs do offer a special OTA upgrade for official builds only.)
