while not mandatory, it’s a good practice to provide builders with resources required to compile \e\ (I use this device-req formatting).
However that device is based on Mediatek (Dimensity 7300X) SoC so I fear that it is unlikely that native custom ROMs will be made.
I suggest you to try with GSIs.
