New MicroG 'feature'

Is MicroG really the only difference between LineageOS and /e/ ?

As far as privacy is concerned yes, beside the DNS and captive portal changes I mentioned and which are easy to found and implement anywhere. Other than that /e/ has some custom things (like a custom launcher with a weather widget you can’t remove), some other apps and services installed but for the normal user this would be the difference they see (and how their privacy will be impacted).

Definitely not. What attracted me, and what keeps my using and working with /e/ is how much of the functionality I need from a phone is available with the /e/ services already integrated, such as email, contacts & calendar sync, file sync (if you install the NextCloud client - I really think that should be included by default in the ROM), photo sync, sms backup (coming soon I hope).
