Hi all,
I’ve just bought a Teracube2e from Murena and all seemed to go fine – I set up everything using wifi (which worked ok, despite some noticeable hiccups), installed and tested several apps, then I finally inserted my Windtre SIM. It registered correctly and I can both make calls and use SMS succesfully, however the mobile data connection simply refuses to work – I get a “no internet conection message”. It displays an H under the mobile data toggle icon, then in its preferences I have LTE turned on (but I also tried switching to 3G or 2G and nothing happens, while 4G doesn’t even seem to be available!).
I have advanced privacy turned on.
Can you please help? A phone without mobile data connectivity is of little use…
You may need to get updated APN settings from your mobile operator. Incorrect or missing APN settings can cause the behaviour you are seeing. Settings | Network and Internet | Mobile Network | Advanced | access Point Names
Hi petefoth and thank you.
I opened the setting you mentioned, but i get the following message (in Italian, I’m translating back to English): The APN settings are not available for this user.
I’ve tried tapping on the “+” icon anyway and I’ve filled in the details of my provider, that I found online, but the new APN doesn’t get saved and I’m stuck at the same error message screen…
Thank you so much! In fact, what did the trick for me was reading your bottom line – I previously changed the precompiled MNC field to match what I found online. Now I left the precompiled value unchanged and that solved the problem!
Maybe theres other problems in the mobile data area too.
Latley i found that my fp4 is sometimes unable to reconnect to mobile data after disabling it from the pulldown.
So far a restart of e resolved the issue.
