Oneplus 5T on Pie

Hello,

I just bought a Oneplus 5T, which is on Android Pie.
I wanted to install /e/ on it, but I’m scared about sentences on install :

> Warning : Do not attempt to downgrade your smartphone in case you are on Android Q / LOS 17.0 or Android Pie / LOS 16.x.

> Downgrading a device from Q or Pie to Oreo or Nougat operating system can cause your device to brick and become unusable.

> If you are on these OS versions Please stop at this point and continue using your current Operating System.

That’s probably stupid question, but Can I install Oreo dumpling OS on my Oneplus 5T ?

I know Samsung is not OnePlus. But here a /e/ user has successfully changed OS stockROM 9-Pie to /e/ OS Oreo 8.1.0. The OS change from stockROM Android 10 to Oreo 8.1.0 seems much more risky.

I’m using /e/ on my OnePlus 5T with an 8/Oreo base : no problem at all.

Great phone, great OS (except Bliss Launcher : I switched to Zim Launcher).
