Problems with receiving e-mails

Same here. The simplelogin.io mails are bounced.

do you have a bounce mail with headers and error code?

Unfortunately there is no error code in my case.
It only says it was bounced with the following information:

"This is usually because your mailbox service thinks the email is spam.

The email is automatically deleted in 7 days.

Please consider the following options:

1. If the email is not spam, you can create a filter to explicitly allow all emails from SimpleLogin.

2. If this email is indeed spam, it means your alias byschulz.6833f@simplelogin.com is now in the hands of a spammer. You can either disable the alias or block the sender if they send too many spam emails.

Please note that the alias can be automatically disabled if too many emails sent to it are bounced."

Sometimes the mails from the same sender are not bounced. With protonmail and simpleligin aliases everything is fine.

I’m unsure simplelogin forwarding is still about DANE validation, did you try adding an explicit domain allow filter as the simplelogin documentation suggests?

Thanks for your help.
The problem with bouncing accured recently and was not happening before.
I did not try to add a filter. Will try that.

For me, it works now again. There was perhaps a lag of a day …

I have one of the emails here, if you find something meaningful:

Thank you, I didn’t make the backslash.
But with the gear icon, I don’t have a “hide text” option…

great, error codes! 451 4.7.1 Try again later in postfix can be a few things, but my guess is 1. on graylisting or graylisting without the good parts, I’ve noticed its use with murena mail before and I’m just not a fan of GL, but I never ran a freemailer, 2. something in postfix plumbing erroring out - or plain simple things as disk space - so the queue isn’t processing.

As to graylisting, when I compare delayed mail (same sender - hivemq - same content - signup mail) to the one quick to arrive, the BAYES_SPAM header isn’t present with the latter. As it hit the same mail server and is of the same content, not sure what’s the heuristics that decides what gets the bayes treatment. It clearly isn’t working well for time critical mail.

It is not the DANE failure that the thread was on up to that point. I’d split it of adding “(try again later)” to the title, and add “(failed DANE validation)” to the original.

Idk,

For me it looks like
